Your shoes will also take a few moments to themselves to steal the spotlight away while they elegantly pose for photos. They are definitely not camera shy and will have their red carpet moments as they perch upon books, kiss each other (for the toe-to-toe pose), they will turn away from each other for the (heel-to-heel pose).

“Attached are some of the images that inspired me while I was putting together my Spring collection. I’m constantly inspired by what I notice in nature as well as images and memories from places I’ve lived.”

“My husband is really into gardening and this year we decided to completely redo our yard into mostly native plants and succulents. We spent a good bit of time at gardens in San Diego and a cactus nursery in Malibu, so I found myself thinking a good deal about muted colors with bright splashes of color, waves, sand and tidepools.”

I also fell in love with large flowers with rhinestones resting on their petals like raindrops and jeweled bridal crowns.

We can definitely see how the inspiration transformed into the creation, especially the ‘raindrops on flowers’ which was so brilliantly executed in the bouquet above. The coral Chanel dress on the reef is positively stunning with the bridal crowns. Noaki’s inspiration of the tidepools,waves, and muted colors turned into the creation of a stunning collection that reminds us of a springtime seaside goddess. Ethereal, elegant and unique.

On a romantic getaway to Paris you stroll by the famous storefront of Repetto. You are awestruck by the two floating dress between glittering chandeliers in the window and are immediately drawn inside where you are greeted by a giant wall of  pale pink ballet slippers. You are inspired! You want to incorporate this ethereal display into your wedding day, but how?

The Viceroy is an ideal location for a wedding, the stylish surroundings are a designers’ dream and “dramatic glamour under the sun.”  The venue is large enough to host a good sized wedding, yet small enough so that you and your guests would feel like you had entire sections of the hotel to yourselves.

The night began with poolside cocktails, paraffin hand treatments and mini massages then led to the lovely dining area with hovering chandeliers and perfect Palm Springs weather. Jose Villa was snapping the photos as Joel Serrato filmed us with his 8mm.  Luna Solomon of Arrangements Floral and Party Design did a fantastic job of designing the cocktail and dining area.

Some of the lovely ladies who were there included Beth Helmstetter, The Bridal Bar, Kristin Banta and her team,Luna Solomon of Arrangements Floral and Party Design, Vanessa and I from Lollipop Events & Designs, Alison Events, Jen from Green Wedding Shoes, Julie Pryor of Pryor Events, and a few more!

The lovely Alison Events team designed this Kate Spade inspired table top. We loved the springtime pops of color set upon a darker navy blue palette. And the men behind the lenses were Jose Villa with his camera and Joel Serrato with his 8 mm.

We first started with a fabric in shades of peaches, greys, and rust. We wanted the flowers to match the soft flow of the fabric, by winding down the table and gradiating from one color to another. The place settings were each set on a small cake stand for height, the chiffon fabric and velvet ribbon treatment draped over the edges for added drama.

We placed flowers in pots and turned them onto their sides, and placed them onto a copper garden stand so that the gradiating floral effect could be seen from another view.

Because we were bringing the runway to the tabletop we accessorized the napkins. We layered them with the same zigzag fabric in a chiffon version, velvet ribbons, copper chains (to resemble jewelry) and mother of pearl accents.

The accessorizing did not stop at the copper necklaces on the napkin treatments. Sweet & Saucy Shop accessorized the cake with copper jeweled accents, the bouquet was accessorized with copper wire and we also accessorized the laser cut invitation with mother of pearl and a necklace!

The laser cut invitation with jeweled accents matched the menu and emulated the shape of the plate. The dark brown accents were a rich contrast against the softer palette of the tablescape. The large anenome on the cake matched the lovely anenomes in the bridal bouquet. From the runway to the table we were inspired by Missoni.

Pretty in Purple: Perfect for the couple who want a feeling of Springtime and romance. Lace service plates set on a background of Topaz fabric accented by a delicate carafe and plates with unexpected Asian patterns. Pastels purple flowers with a touch of glamour, perfect for the Spring.

Go Globally Gold: For the couple who loves travel. Chevrons gold presentation plates accented by gold flatware set on a background of cherry satin fabrics in an ikat print. Tumblers with glowing gold rims and plates layered in ethnic patterns all fuse together to create worldly elegance.

Rustic Yet Elegant: Green, shades of copper, bronzes, and Metallics. Malachite dishes and vermeil spoons antique metal chargers, set upon an antique Spanish table. Goblets and glasses in four different shades of greens and bronzes mixed together. This table shows that sticking with two main colors, but using multiple shades of each color creates a gorgeous table with depth and glam.

Perfect Patterns: How many patterns make an appearance on this tabletop? We counted five! Striped water glasses alongside bubble double old-fashioned glasses in shades of blue. Blue and white striped napkins set atop Malabar fabric in shades of red and blue. This is a perfect example that mixing and matching creates a designer savvy look.
