A picture is worth 1000 words, and truly talented photographers exemplify this in their work. It is something that we look for in photographers, because the picture should say it all, no explanation needed. The emotions and the moment are captured to perfection. The photographer has a clear point of view, which emanates through their own style that is not trendy, not forced. When Australian photographer Jonas Peterson e-mailed us, informing us that he would be shooting some weddings in the States this coming summer, we hopped on over to see his work. We were immediately awe-struck and decided that he is definitely on our list of favorite photographers. Here is one of his latest weddings in Australia at hidden gem called the Secret Garden .

The bride giggling excitedly as she gets ready while the groom ties his bow tie and complicated shoes!

The bride Jenny putting on her ethereal Akira gown, while the groom Andrew donned his Scottish garment.

The perfect Secret Garden gown blowing in the breeze amidst a secluded Peppermint forest and wisteria clad pillars.

The Secret Garden is dripping with wisteria, roses and iris in a secluded valley surrounded by a peppermint forest. The walkways are lined with crab apples, and lily ponds are scattered throughout. The lighting is truly magical.

Some of the lovely details including an wild, overgrown bouquet to match the garden surroundings.

As the sun started to set, the surroundings started to glow and took on a magical midsummer’s night dream feel…

The guests must have felt the magic too. Guests flew in from Scotland to celebrate Andrew and Jenny’s love in Australia. And celebrate they did..

This magical evening ended with one of my favorite photos.

I loved how the table linens were different, and the flowers were not the main focal point of the tables.
Is that cake stand available to rent or purchase?:)
