Wine Trolley Wedding: Colorful Welcome Dinner

The wine trolley weekend fun was started off with a welcome/rehearsal dinner for this San Luis Obispo wedding. To keep things interesting we went a completely different design direction from the rustic/mod wedding to come and instead welcomed guests with a Latin style affair.
Guests were served pitchers of mojitos, traditional Brazilian appetizers, and cupcakes in a vibrant array of colors. Fun dice games, and props were set at each table to serve as comical “ice breakers”for the events to come. The guests had a blast playing with the silly props, and rolling the dice to “stand up and dance” or “give the couple a funny toast”.
Rod iron chairs and tables in a rainbow of bright colors from lime green to cherry red were topped with polka dot and striped vases, flowers and fringed blankets in a fluorescent palette of squares. Balloons were strung at varying heights and up-lit to give the impression of floating lanterns. The overall effect was whimsical, festive and got the guests excited for the wedding weekend to come!

What fun!!! I love the bright bold colors. The white balloons look awesome as a contrast with the table decor. The bride and groom look like they know how to have a good time…………

What an intimate, yet playful setting – it really got the guests into a party mood! Amazing attention to detail as is a hallmark of the Lollipop Ladies!
