Day of the Dead Invitations
This utterly unique couple wanted to showcase their personalities and individualism through their invitations. They gave us complete creative freedom! We created a skull design out of icons that represented both of them individually, and together. The Groom loves: His Italian heritage, being a musician in his band, music, mustaches, pizza, beer, and his bride-to-be! The Bride loves: Her Mexican heritage, being a hair stylist, margaritas, tacos, maracas, Mickey Mouse and her groom-to-be! Their actual tattoos were incorporated in the design and their initials took the place of the teeth underneath the handlebar mustache.
We hand sewed buttons for eyes and laced blue and red string around the invite and around the eyes for the closure. Who says you have to tone down your true colors for your special day? Staying true to who you are and letting your personalities shine through is very cool, chic and oh so Rock n’ Roll!
