I was inspired by my own culture.

The vision for my wedding was - besides creating a memorable experience for our guests - to combine my home country Germany with my husband's California origin.
When my family flew in from Germany, they brought original German marzipan figures (seafood shaped to match our beach wedding theme) which we wrapped individually as favors.
Our MC (an Aussie!) learned a few words in German. We served German beer and California white wine. And the menu included some of my favorite German food and fresh local seafood.
The design of our invitation was a postcard "from California".

Wow to be a bride all over again! I would change so many things. I love the hair, the knit, the soft flowing dresses and the glitter. What a great mix!
