While normally we like to post photographs showing off amazing decor and details, this absolutely romantically classic wedding shot by Jules in Umbria, Italy made such an impact of how gorgeously simplistic it was we had to share it with you. The warmth of the photography is something that is reminiscent of heirloom painting. Doesn’t the bride look like Stella Mc Cartney a bit? Her dress is to die for….

We at Lollipop realize there is always a balance of venue versus catering/guest gifts/entertainment. What is really worth what in my budget you might ask? Ranking the order of importance is always a very personal thing to each couple. The thing that a lot of brides don’t realize is how much they can afford if they sacrifice other areas of their budget. For example, we are currently working with a bride who is weighing out the difference between a wedding in Tuscany versus a wedding in the states. And while a destination wedding may seem financially daunting, the numbers prove otherwise! Between flights, putting up guests in hotels, and catering, the Tuscany budget actually beat out the local one by offering castles and villas that can accommodate up to 60 people and include breakfast and local travel accommodations for their guests. One of our Lolliladies had the privilege of living in Florence for over a year and with the connections she made while there, planning a Tuscan wedding was a breeze!

When we designed and produced a wedding in Santorini, Greece for a bride we made the numbers work by cutting down the guest list a bit. In the end, the bride and groom were more than ecstatic to have the wedding of their dreams and enjoy all of their best friends and closest family members together on a vacation of the lifetime.  While your mothers pinochle group members and your father’s golfing buddies may not have attended, trimming your guest list will allow you to be surrounded by those who are the closest to you. Remember that it is about you and the celebration of your love on your special day!

Really very sweet and lovely, and that dress has just the minimal amount of fluff with otu being too practical …but, I so wish that the make-up artist has attended to the tan lines!
