We have an extra special scrumptious display of eye candy for you all this lovely Monday morning, captured through the candy coated kalediscope eyes of Max Wanger. This beautiful couple had the brilliant and original idea of getting married at the Santa Barbara Zoo!! How cool is that?!? Lions and tigers and bears OH MY!! And not only was the bride ultra stylish but her sister designed her jewelry for her. See her amazing designs, Noaki Jewelry.

These shoes are a confectious dream come to life, aqua satin with silver encrusted bows?!? Her chic tucked under ‘do with that beautiful barrette are so classic. Picture 4Picture 5Picture 6Picture 7Picture 8Picture 9Picture 10Picture 11Picture 12Picture 13

These fun and colorful details are what I truly love! The cake topper even has their actual outfits!! Picture 14Picture 15Picture 16Picture 17Picture 18

Since we were kids, being able to get up close and personal with the animals at the zoo was always a dream… if being able to feed giraffes and hold monkeys is part of the wedding package sign me up!!Picture 19

These are probably my two favorite ‘wedding’ shots I’ve ever seen thanks to this precocious feller’ in the back. This camera hog made sure to ham it up in the middle of the couple (I swear he’s smiling!) then managed to steal the show by sticking his tongue out and throwing Max his funny face!!! SO classic. This last shot is so dramatic it’s really worth taking a few extra moments to study it.  With the play of light contrasting on the cobblestones and the foregrounds distinct silhouette it’s reminiscent of a dramatic chiaroscuro painting. Even within the dark regions, the play of warm to cool black add a whole other layer of interest. This is what makes Max stand out as the brilliant photographer he is.

The soft touches of white with the contrasting bright colors of the zoo, a beautiful couple and a fantastic photographer make this look like a REAL celebration. I love it!
