We were so inspired by the red and blue poppy prints fused with golden wheat accents on the Chanel Runway from our post yesterday that we recreated our own Chanel inspired ‘wheat & poppy patterned wedding’. To attain this ‘haute hay hoedown’ mix gilded golden wheat accents and textures of woven baskets with prints of bright poppies and golden rimmed glassware. Hang dramatic green leaf garlands, don a dress with a poppy print bustle or a mini ivory couture dress with matching white pumps. Tie wheat bundles to chair backs, serve a cake of dramatic black and white cascading poppies, and dress your bridesmaids in golden and black poppy print dresses. Pin a bright red leather poppy boutonniere on your groom and small wheat bundles on the groomsmen. This runway look is all about mixing and matching couture gowns and glam golden pieces with rustic wheat elements and adding in bright poppy elements!
