High Fashion to Wedding: Fairy-Tale Gardens

High fashion photographer, Tim Walker, continues to provide us with endless inspiration and we have been showcasing a variety of his work over the past week. Following is fairy garden inspiration board we conjured up using some of Tim Walker’s famous cutting edge photos fused with other enchanting images. We adore the magical and playful vibe that emanates off of his photos and would love to see his photography translated into a fanciful fairy-tale dream inspired wedding.

DIY! Obtain the gilded and glowing look above! Upgrade industrial glass packaging such as milk bottles by engraving and gilding gold & metallic designs onto them via Hello Tiger.

Next, look at the ‘Fanciful Garden’ event design by Lisa Vorce! It is so similar to the dreamy and imaginary feel of Tim Walker’s photos and is a perfect example of how brilliantly ‘high-fashion’ can translate into a wedding design!

When planning your big day, do not just turn to the pages of bridal magazines. Look at fashion magazines as well. Flip through the pages of editorials, fashion advertisements and get inspired by the gowns and textures on the runways of NY. Find your wedding color pallette from the colorful patterns of a designer handbag or shoes. Get creative!
