This wedding is truly a fresh of breath air. As fresh as the abundance of baby’s breath, sunflowers and the simple, relaxed setting. This fabulous farmyard affair was sent to us from Open Air Photography by Katie Stoops.

“Jennifer & Travis were lucky enough to be able to have their wedding at the relaxing Marriott Ranch right outside of Front Royal, VA. I had never had the chance to go to the Ranch but I knew from the moment I had to drive through a herd of cows, it was going to be a really fun wedding!”

“The air was heavy with the typical Virginian August humidity, but you really didn’t notice it very much because everyone was having such a great time. Laughter and crazy dance moves kept the night alive. I would say this wedding had the most relaxed feeling gracing each guest. Jennifer walked down the warm grass aisle barefoot and changed into cowboy boots directly following the ceremony.” - Katie Stoops, Open Air Photography

Dress: Augusta Jones;  Bouquets: Lake Ridge Florist;  Table & Decor: DIY by family

Details We Adore: The navy blue and yellow color palette, sunflowers mixed with baby’s breath, belly bars dressed in white linens and tied with simple navy sashes, glass water bottles with stems of baby’s breath, the five small cakes (two chocolate and three vanilla!), herds of cows, flowing buttercream bridesmaid dresses, the grooms striped tie and the bride changing from bare feet to old loved cowboy boots. Most of all we adore the laughter, love and fun that filled the day…
