Here is the fifth inspiration board in our series for our Free Save the Date Contest! Go here to enter! Breezy beach weddings evoke the feeling of sand between your toes, flip flops on your feet and wind in your hair. Infusing the color of sea-blue from the foamy surf and white from the puffy clouds floating above, beach weddings are typically casual affairs. They can be held on the sandy shores of a local beach or overlooking the seashore from a pier on an island far, far away… Infuse a variety of elements from blue glass bottles, two-tone causal cotton bridesmaid dresses and boats holding everything from candles to vintage coke bottles! Hold your loved one tight, dip your toes in the water and write your initials in the sand!

Look at this gorgeous and serene wedding set in North Carolina. Held on a deck overlooking the ocean, this couple perfectly captured a casual yet elegant feel. Beach weddings can also be glammed up a bit with a Nantucket Nautical and Cape Cod feel. Dress up the event with bright festive tables featuring a patriotic palette of red, white and blue and serve your guests a fun-filled lobster style clambake. Think cable knit, Kennedy’s, and Classic Coca-Cola for this Americana inspired beach affair. Wear a breezy vintage gown accented by bright red cherry lipstick and oversized Jackie-O sunglasses!
