I found photos of these ridiculously cute doily liners in my Martha Stewart Weddings Magazine and jumped for joy what an inventive idea it was!
So chic and sweet and definitely an easy DIY! I just love when I can find new uses for old or common items. Its all about being creative! Check out some of the other ideas were shown:

Bringing back some of the cute, vintagey things that you may just throw aside IS what will make your ideas unique!

Style Worthy $avings!!!

You can save money and serve in style without breaking the bank. We fell in love with these gorgeous patterned dinnerware sets from Kate Spade made from fine bone china. This one is gold and white with a soft, cheerful pattern of an Autumn meadow.

This one is platinum on white with a striking floral motif. Both sets are timeless, elegant and would be perfect for both casual and fine dining.

If your budget does not stretch this far we also found an almost identical match at Target!

Although they are made from porcelain they are simply gorgeous and feature a chic leaf design with a delicate bird accent. You could even buy a few sets of all three and mix and match for an eclectic yet stylish dinner party or event! These plates would be absolutely gorgeous set with a table similar to this one by Laurie over at OnceWed.
